*Remember combats
*Simple
It was a logo for my team who plays electronic games, we needed a logo that remember combats, so i chose a shield and used some simple effects like shadow and gradient.
I needed a typography legible but with a bit of mess, i wanted people have to look twice to read the logo.

you started well, but you must go darker and modern. I would pass the gradients on the outside of the shield , making the blue and white zone more balanced. I don't like your font of choice, but I like "nk" without gradient- it would go better solid color. Put on the shield just "nk", take out of the shield "nobody knows" with some other font, add a lillte effect of drop shadow or neon glow on a dark background and that's it.
Basically, it's unreadable. Loose the effects and show us a logo that means something. How do gamers support the troops? Supporting the troops...if that's your deal...then make it work otherwise your just spouting BS. Are these real troops or gamer people, there is a difference.
No... stop... made a searchon the web about logos... and then start all over again
What type of games do you play what platform?
You should put that into consideration too..
Here is a very very fast rough idea.
Nobody knows and nobody ever will. You might as well go play football, because it looks like a football logo poorly done. I like the type. You should use colors that are not so passive.
Unlike some other people here I like the original one, simple, catchy, modern.
I would have seen the letters NK stand more than the name itself.
I am not too fan of the proposed one by Monito Designs tough, too complex.
