Brief from client
Friend of mine gave me the reigns on this logo for a small side practice wood shop he is starting.
I wanted to create a simple logo (KISS) for this. One that, if decided to, could be burnt into his finished wooden projects once completed. I do have another logo without the texture and dimension to it for that reason.
I added the color variance, with the wood grain texture to look like a wooden structure.

Love the idea. I think all this is really missing is a bit of breathing room. It just appears a bit cramped.
Nitpicking aside, it looks very well done.

Great great all around :) I could see the breathing room comment. Just a little space would make it feel more upscale I think. Overall I love everything about this.
Certainly I see a great job here, I like the combination of fonts, very good!
