Brief from client
To create a logo for a company selling organic dog food.
they would like the the logo to be in the style of old beer mats and vintage looking.
Include an image of a wolf or dog that doesn't look too angry
So I've started experimenting with some colour! I've changed the font so it fits in with the rest of the style, now its just the wolfs face that doesn't seem to suit the rest. I think I'm going to have to sketch out some wolfs faces when i get a chance.

I am loving this even more with the new font! But I agree that your pup doesn't fit the style of his surroundings.
But I am torn, as I said before I am also quite fond of the rounded version (3) you also uploaded.

Oh and I love that in the color version you can see the dogs ears break out of the top of the shape- I like this element, I hope that it stays if you change up the dog. =)

I'm having a bit of difficulty drawing a new dog but yes the ears will definitely break out of the top of the shape when i get a new dog drawn. I'm glad you like it!

Yes, this looks very nicely uniform compared to the others. I will say though, I would lessen the lines and pips in the center. The dots look like nails or bolts or something, I think they could be removed and it will still look nice.

Thanks Kill! I've just designed a label using Version 3 as i think i prefer that version more to this one but I'm a bit torn between the two at the moment
