Brief from client
A meaningless logo just for fun. Practising with font pairings and typography etc.
Comments suggestions welcome. This is initial flat mono version - want to get typography fine-tuned before adding colour.

I'd remove the circle, it doesn't bring anything here. And I'd change the subtext font. Thirsty is one of these type I see everywhere.
Other than that, that a pretty good job.
Something about the counter in the D and G and the bowl in the O are disconcerting to me. Because of their uniformity, it looks like you just but three straight white lines through the letters. Is there another similar typeface that you can use? Once I noticed that, I can't stop seeing it.
The tail form on the G is nice, but why two different tails? Perhaps stick with one. Last I knew, dogs only have one tail each.
If this were a bumper sticker, I'd probably put in on my car (if I were the type of person to put bumper stickers on my car!) :)
It's a nice mark, though. I love dogs.
