Brief from client
My own personal logo, just wanted a clean simple abstract with a nice typography. Let me know if it works.
Not sure if this version is better but took the advice and came out with this.

OK. Use this color scheme in the version 1.
You reduced the size of the symbol and that is not good. Now the symbol has no weight.
Also, reduce the height of "design studio". Just the height so letters like o, u, s, and n look more "square"
I prefer this version. The colors look most harmony.
I think if you remove the symbol stroke it look's better and fine to your proposal.
And again:
Sideways NBC peacock feathers without a peacock and different color scheme.
I don't think this has any chance of becoming a unique and memorable logo.
Find a better idea and start from scratch.
