Forced Motorsports

I think for starters the black swoosh needs to go, a bit dated. I would personally get rid of the turbo kit in the word 'Forced' and just have it as 'Forced' in the current typeface, as it kind of muddles your focus on the word. It could be more subtley integrated somewhere. Maybe tone down the red slightly so its not as garish and scale down the word 'motorsports' so it fits under 'Forced'. It has potential for development, I would perhaps add a metallic more detailed feel to the typeface, as at the moment it looks a bit out of place for this industry...

Swoosh is definitely superfluous.
I would try motorsports in a simple sans serif font.
The turbo clip art will always make this logo look a bit dated. Maybe try a simpler stylised version of a turbo.
I would also use a less dated font for 'FORCED'. Do a quick search for motorsport fonts and there will be lots of inspiration for you.

Starting again is always an option. Design is design, and I value the opinions of others. I quickly did this, and I feel with a little more tweaking I could make this even better.

Here is a rough draft. I feel the fonts are bit more modern, and a simple sans serif is definitely a good idea for motorsports.

Since both owners have newer Mustang's, and their primary audience will be selling Mustang aftermarket parts, the mustang silhouette is another option. If I can fit in some sort of resemblance of a simplified turbo design I will. I just want to keep this clean.
