Brief from client
Logo for a motorsports company. Needs to incorporate a turbo.
After seeing the feedback on the first, decided to start over with a little more simplistic design. The company primary works with Mustangs, hence the silhouette.
I also have another version that incorporates a simplified turbo and the same fonts.
For me this is the best version, that is not good, but this is the most balanced proposal to your client. A curiosity: Have you thought about putting the new 2015 Mustang in silhouette?
It's definitely a step forward.
I still think 'motorsports' could be in a less stylised font. The P and R are taking away some limelight from the main name.
The Mustang should probably be the latest version, as Geidson has suggested. The bonnet and bumper is a bit heavy on the current design.
The F seems a bit awkward how it meets the O and the R needs a bit of tweaking too.
Thanks everyone. Client decided to use both this and version 3. I made some tweaks to version 3 and made a version 4. The version 4 will be the primary website logo and version 2 here will be for print, flyers, and other items.

Hope that helps!
Good improvement indeed.
The symbol isn't bad, but the curves need a lot of tweakage.
