Gorgor

Brief from client
They wanted an eagle since the word gorgor means that in the local language. They are printing firm. They didn't want an actual bird.

Bariqo, I dig what you have done it on this one, but I love more heavier wing on a version 4, plus it has more dynamics as he ( eagle ) resembles more take off as air plane does or a flight for that matter. That nice angular line from his beak to a tail looks awesome and I wouldn't mess with that.
I quite like the symbol, but hate the type, which doesn't work with the symbol at all imho. I'd seriously consider a sans-serif as it currently looks a bit '90's book publisher'
Also think the symbol is a tad too much. Too large and intrusive.
Jon, what if a symbol can be blend with a better font to fit in a better format?
I thought about that :) I'd align the font better (stylistically) with the symbol at least before trying to integrate the two, as i'm not convinced that you could get that symbol as part of the type looking natural/comfortable.
Thank you, Jon! I really enjoy communicating with you. Good luck with your concepts. Will be in touch.
Guys I appreciated your input. The client is happy and the likes of Camobap have given me good suggestions. Yes it does appear like a chopper in motion but that's partly what he wants. The name means eagle but he doesn't want an eagle as symbol...an abstract is okay but it must not be clearly an eagle. His motto is also; we give your business the wings so the airline/plane concept is still the "wing" motto for him. So he is happy.
Cheers
Bariqo, I'm happy that a client accept your concept and congratulation to you! What country is he from, sounds like a former Yugoslavia?
No. He is actually from the east African country of Somalia. Myself I'm from there and Ethiopia. This project was kind of personal for me too. Growing up in Ethiopia, I used to have a falcon that I took from its nest when it hatched. I was too young to know right and wrong but I did raise her and eventually released her after two years. Dedication. Are you from Serbia or Poland?
I was born in former USSR, now that place is independent country of Belarus.
Final proof! Use it!
I like this. The bird is elegant and I think the serifs are complimentary to the bird's v shape
Bariqo Hello! As I said in version 4 the symbol is simple and pleasant although I have been analyzing the flight of this bird and I can see that is not so inclined as reflected in your symbol.
Maybe slightly adjust the detail and try a different font.
I hope to see a mock of their work.
