You realize that the name of your company sounds exactly like "obese", don't you?

This whole thing stinks amateurism from miles away.

The logo looks like it's been done in 2 minutes flat, no pertinent idea nor real strategy behind it and sorry to point that out again, but that punny name is ridiculous. When I first saw the thumbnail, I though it was going to be a spam for some diet product. I guess I was only half wrong.

If you want to be taken seriously on this site, cut the crap, don't try to sell anything and just ask what people think of your logo.

I'm not sure why this logo has inspired such ire, but it's not THAT bad.

If you're just the designer, the name isn't really your problem, so I would just ignore that critique. And, no, it doesn't rhyme with obese, or sound like it really. It sounds like "hobbies" and "ease" put together, which is a pretty kitschy pun but whatever.

I'd like to see more of the "hobbies" incorporated into the logo. Actually when I first saw it, I thought of these paper hearts that are pretty easy to make: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-11v8glIbEYg/TV1OW8e-_0I/AAAAAAAAClE/-Mtu4xnc1y...
When I look at this, I see the paper folding craft, and the checkered pattern in the middle kind of looks like an open box. Maybe you could play around with that idea?

All lowercase letters in the logo is a fad that has gone out of fashion now. The font you have now is pretty basic, try finding something that has a little more personality while still being classic. Maybe something with subtly rounded corners to match the round corners of the heart?

The brief from the client should just say what the company wants from their logo, not the services they provide. But I do think that it is good to have some background on the company to understand what they do, so I guess it doesn't bug ME too much.

Hope to see a second version!

That does not really sound like a brief.
As said before, this still look like a first draft.

Its clean and memorable but for me doesnt truly reflect the company, the very fact you had to explain it........
