Industrial automation multi directional protocol converter. Logo required to be used as configure software icon.
I hope the logo is unique and don't have any similar design elsewhere. Welcome and really need your comment and input. Thanks!

Your logo being unique shouldn't be your main worry here. A quick Google Image search shows that it is, so you're good on that front.
Now you still have some work to do to make this logo a bit more impactful.
You have an OK symbol. I like the way by putting 2 arrows side by side facing opposite directions sideways, you create two others pointing up and down in the negative space. Simple and clever.
Now, globally this logo looks extremely boring and dull. You got to find a way to make it more attractive to the eye. I understand it's supposed to represent something very industrial and technically specific, but it's not a reason to make it look so basic that it will never be really noticed.
You can start by spending more time of finding the right font. This word mark is terribly long, but I guess there's not much you can do about it. But you can organize it more efficiently. Is "DIOT" the most important part? What about having it in a bold narrow font, like Knockout for exemple, with "multi-protocol" above and "protocol" below, in a smaller but complementing font? And very importantly, having the whole thing centered with the symbol, either horizontally or vertically.
Color-wise, a dark burgundy red with two shades of grey are what make your logo so dull. Make that symbol pop with a brighter unapologetic red and get rid of that useless grey background. Your logo have far better chances to appear on a white background.
I hope this helps. There's potential in your logo, give it a chance to make a stronger impact.
Keep it up!
