Loumi's #2

Brief from client

Hey guys.

I'm actually working on the re-branding of a restaurant in Paris.

The main constraint is to keep the brand mark.

Tell me what you guys think.

My favorite one so far.

I kept the mark but ore as a seal with the ability to float around.

Fonts are Thirsty (thanks to Joe White for telling me about this one) and Knockout.

i would like this one more than your other version if you managed to incorporate the symbol with the text you've done a bit better atm it looks like its just floating around and the text and symbol arnt united together. I think it works with the symbol above the text like you've done in the bottom right of the picture above. But still slight prefer your other version! niccceeee work though

Not as keen on this one. With great fonts, come great responsibility. You need to know when you can use each one, even if they are alot of fun to work with.

shawali your designs are very good, but this one has something that annoys me. Maybe is the small text above that is a little waved or the mark that floats there , i don't know so far, but my eyes can't find a place to stay on this logo. I guess a little change will do the trick and i wish to tell you what's that ....

Have no time now to re-draw this logo. I would take all the text and symbols from Version 1, and make same line-shadows under "L" mark.

I understand your constraints on the brand, this however creates two different "L" designs. The type in version one seemed generic enough to allow the "L" mark to be dominant. The cursive "L" in version two seems to create another direction in the "L" concept.
