Brief from client
This logo is for my own freelance graphic and sound design operation. Wouldn't be limited to futuristic/techy design.
The larger M actually conforms to the shape of a common mech (large robot). And for some reason, maybe because of other designs in the same file, I sometimes think of a jewelry company when I see this logo. Could that make the company look like it is overvaluing itself?

For some reason, I'm seeing a V shape that stands out more than an M. Your font also doesn't quite match your symbol.

Ah I see that now. The new version is an attempt at reducing that visual.
The symbol has a problem of unity, believe that giving a smaller proportion to the symbol would help to balance and weight of the composition.
Typography I like.
Made a new version. The M symbol is still heavy but some weight was given to the type.

For the logo It already looks better. I think that the letters need some tweaking, They almost line up with the 'M' legs, but not quite. Maybe try to shift them as so. :)

Yeah I did mistakenly use some weasel wording there. haha I was thinking of when I see mechs they usually have a really wide stance and are proportionately short and bulky. A google search brings up of a lot of mechs like that.
Kerning is a bit better now, although the E is a little off the inner line of the symbol since it appeared too close to the small M. The type looks a bit more structured now.
It just keeps getting better.
