This logo is for my own freelance graphic and sound design operation. Wouldn't be limited to futuristic/techy design.
Letters kerned to match width of M symbol with slight extra inward kerning on the E for spacing reasons. Indentations added.

Hmm, not quite. I still think the typeface is a bit too plain. If you really want to push the "mech" theme, I'm sure there's something out there that will compliment that. You have the futuristic look down, but for such a short name I'm sure legibility wouldn't suffer too much if it was a little..out there.

love it! i think i agree with killswitch on the font..also the spacing might be too much?
This logo rox. The message and design of the M, money.
To me the typeface isn't as bad as others have expressed, but I do think that it can be better.
An idea I can give you is: The M is kind of 'condensed' so why don't you look for a typeface that has a similar condensed attribute?
Granted, the style you picked works pretty good, san-serif. Look for a san-serif, condensed typeface and see how that feels with the M.
Would love to see the color version of this design.
