Sorry- not quite there yet : )...

I would go with a sans serif font. A darker green and complementing gray type.

It'll rock once you get it finalized.

Oh- and you need to give the symbol plenty of space.

I happen to like it actually....but i agree with G13 with the space between the font and symbol....try it without that background too...just a purple (or any color you like) symbol and font.
