Brief from client
Photography company focused on sports, fit models and athletes. Client wanted to incorporate royal purple if possible and requested not to use the stereo typical lens icons and find a creative way to incorporate photography and sports. He did not want any tagline such as photography or photo studio attached to the logo design.

The removal of the capsule is a tiny step in the right direction. For the rest, my comment from the other post still stand.
I think what this needs is some super simplification. I like the finger frame idea, but the problem is, it's covering up letters, almost turning your U into a J. Also, I don't know why, but you have a small white shape on the inside of the upper hand. Looks like a leftover shape from something.
I do recognize the challenge put in front of you, though. I think what I'd do move the hands out of the way of your text, pick a font that gives your logo a sports look (there are so many of these, do some digging and you'll find something good), and go from there.
Also, that doesn't look like royal purple to me. That appears to be royal blue.
I'm pretty sure that white shape on the upper hand is the "button" on a camera to take a picture (the negative space makes a camera, the O makes the lens).
The problem with that is that these are fingers, not a camera.
Holding up your hands like that is already recognized as being a camera, so the button only looks like there is a hole in the hand.
In my opinion.
Agreed with waffles, if that's the intent then all the more reason for simplification.
