This is the best version so far! The main font is a little bit odd, but not too bad. Try making the B & L slightly larger than the rest of the letters in your name (small caps effect) to make it a little more interesting to read. Also, I think the combo of bullets & divider lines in your tagline might be a little visually confusing although it does add some interest. Why no colours?
I also liked Version 2... sort of a retro vinyl record feeling to it.
I'm just not the best with colors.. I lack experience and experimentation with them. I'm up for suggestions though! Thank you for the feedback. I like version 2 as well, I'm not sure why some people don't. I'll also see what it looks like with circles only, divider lines only, etc.
I think these are nice, but there is still quite alot going on. The small text at the bottom should really be a much simpler type, I try to keep everything as simple as possible where necessary. Scripted and calligraphy fonts are great for short words of punchy headlines, but not really for long tag lines like this.
why the banner? does it make a logo symbol, what it means?? i like the tommaso font but as joe said the calligraphic character its not the maximum. Whatever a logo dont need a simple banner and a ready character to be called a logo. You must study it, reflect what you do, give the idea that this person that get this logo do something, and reflect what you wont te reflect. this logo dont say nothing. Better the previous (sorry for being an asshole)
I'm trying to show a sense of professionalism with a classic style.. Although I guess I'm not sure how to translate this, or any message whatsoever. I appreciate your input, I just need to become more experienced to create better quality work. I'm not sure how to reflect "Illustration, Art, and Graphic" Design without the logo becoming too complicated
Then start doing Others logo not yours personal, its the most difficult to do, better pay someone else :)). I have hundred of mine and after one month I don't like neither one. And I find myself starting over again :). And boy don't worry you have a good instinct for doing this job, just not easy, need work :) and remember, have fun, always!
I agree, and thank you! I appreciate those words. I'm going to continue my work and develop myself as a designer through further critique and experience.

Here are some of the versions without the combination of lines and dots, plus the B+L are bigger.
I like the typography and I like the banner, it remind me of the old calligraphy banners.

Is there any font you suggest that would give the same classy look to it without becoming too crowded?
