The Runaway Diner

Brief from client

This is a fictional diner that takes place in Vermont.

Followed some of the suggestions from the last critique, getting rid of the many useless and poorly done elements and simplifying, while still retaining the typography. I feel this version actually alludes to the name as well, almost as if it creates a path all the way to the top of the mountain. A path to runaway on.

Thank you for the initial feedback and any more you would like to add.

I think this is a great improvement over version 1!
I can see this looking cool on shirts and signage too.
If I had to nit-pick (and I often do lol) I would vary up the mountain "peak" so its not so perfect. But this is much more interesting than the burger+circle idea!
Good job!

I agree, this is going in the right direction! I still think the symbol could use some work though. Can it be simplified further?

This one is definitely going in the right direction; the only thing I can't shake is the overall shape of it. Now I'm not trying to bash it in anyway because I love the idea but when you look at it from a non designer perspective I can't seem to shake the resemblance of the poop emoticons. I want reiterate that I am not try to bash on the design but more make you aware of what first popped up in my mind. Maybe if you shortened the road a little it might work - I've attached an example.
