I'm sold on the bottom text; it's the upper text that just seems to be floating. I would incorporate design in here somehow. Or at least resolve the typography above more cleverly. I'm sure there's tons you can do with "UX."
Not being an Ohio native, I wouldn't automatically think of Dayton when looking at the cityscape you used, but I assume those in the area could make out some buildings in the skyline.
Yeah, the skylines of cities that have no widely recognized buildings will always be practically impossible to discern unless you are familiar with the city in question. This is Ok because as you said, those in the Dayton area will be able to recognize the skyline just fine.
