Viva Caruaru
Brief from client
The client want a brand that stands in some way the culture and the city of Caruaru to an Marketing Action.
Caruaru is one city very important in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil.
It is nicknamed "Princess of Wasteland" and/or "Forro's Capital".
The northeastern's culture is present in the city, elements such as: Forro, ballad, hand clay sculpture and the fashion industry presents itself as one of the largest in the country.
I developed that option based in the culture and the flag of the city.
With the force of the tradition of the forro in the region, i choose to show it with a "Cangaceiro's Hat" with colors that's represent the clay culture and even the flag of the city, present in the middle with your colors. And even, the sun representing the "Agreste", figure most particullary correct to it.

It looks like a chocolate burrito
Colors are bad
Font choice isn't good
and I don't think the symbol works
It's pretty, but more of a product than a logo or brand.
looks more like a label for a package or something
I think hat idea is good and that typography can work, you just need to make it look more like a hat (maybe add some perspective) then a 'chocolate burrito'.
