Brief from client 

Should be fun and inviting, and VK should be part of the logo.

Here is a black and white version. Got rid of the ball, different typeface, and the tail is improved. Hopefully this executes the idea better. If not, any specific thoughts on how i can get the tail to work better? Thanks for all the help btw.

So far I think it's the best and I think it works. Not sure about the black.

Thanks Ivan, I'm going to work on the colors with the client... she has specific preferences. So the color choice isn't up to me (unfortunately) but i kept it at black & white for now because i feel like if it looks good in black & white, it will look good on all types of mediums (like pens and other promotional materials)
