The rounding vs sharp corners is consistent- Right round, left straight- same at the bottom. Guessing it was a font letter he altered.
I actually don't mind it.
You may ask indeed. At the moment it's a symbol or logo without any associated type denoting the name of the enterprise. Would be nice to see how this sits with said logo.
I would say make the symbol much smaller compared to the type, consider getting rid of the </>, and research some different fonts. Did you use a font for the "W"?

In my honest opinion this is way to close to the WordPress logo.
Yeah, practically the same....
If you can't take critique then why post something..
I am out of this post. I don't like your attitude.
The symbol means nothing to me. Does the W stand for Webdesign agency? It also doesn't look like it is centered.
The name behind it is Webnite. Then in the logo I used a W and a N
Shut the front door I just saw the N. (also, in my humble opinion, this is not too close to word press- they can't corner the market on W's) lol
Now seeing that, I appreciate this much more. I'll admit, I am not a fan of gradients tho- personal preference.
I'm curious about the details of this web agency. Also, what is your thought behind which corners you rounded and which you kept?

Oh, no I don't mind it either. I was just curious if there was a specific reason behind each corner manipulation.
I actually quite like this. Would like to see type treatment as well. Can't see the Wordpress connection, also it's centred just fine.
What do you mean with type treatment if I may ask?

Something along the lines like this.
