This is getting there! I like the font choice much better now. However, if this logo isn't a registered trademark, I would ditch the R. Also ditch the </>, it just adds clutter and is pretty played out in web design logos.
Agreed. Don't think you need the </> - Even though I kinda like the one on the right to signify movement. But, ehh.
I'm wondering what the blue shadow would look like if a little darker maybe for the version you use that's just the icon?
Like the font.
Sorry to be the party pooper, but this isn't working ne bit.
The symbol itself isn't bad, nor is it ground breaking, it's ok.
But the rest is very complicated and dated. The whole bracket thing is an old idea, I was seeing the same kind of thing for developpers logos like 15 years ago already.
The font also looks super dated, kinda futuristic but in the 90's ;)
Subing a character by the symbol in the word mark is rarely a good idea. You disrupt the whole system of spaces and proportions that a font is and while it isn't infeasible, it requires a whole lot of calculations to avoid any weird looking result. Which is the case unfortunately here.
That registered mark is way too big and I'm not sure you really need to have it here.
