I'm confused why you are not using the client's actual logo for the representation of the cactus & man - they are similar, but not the same - colors, etc.
You should either use the same sleeping guy (with the modified beer) or use something very different, don't just go 'close enough'
Better, but I would get rid of the circled text altogether. It only complicates things.
Just have the name of the brand below the illustration, which needs to be simplified, BTW.
I'm not sure of these pictos too.
Still not a fan of that stencil font.
While I do like your use of color, the main concern I have is the symbol itself. Please take out the small font on the guys mug - as it is illegible. Also it's difficult to judge based on what you're going for. Are you trying to look for a moden logo? Are you going something more vintage or classic? These are the questions to ask yourself.

Something is wrong... try to enlarge the mexican figure a little. And try to work a little more on the stamp effect... give him some color or texture... The way it is presented it looks like unfinnish.
