Grande Bandeirada do 15

Brief from client
This one is a little logo I made a while back(but still haven't used) for some sort of political event in which the people in it would hold/use flags during the event time. "Grande Bandeirada do 15", almost literally means "Great 15's Flagging/Flag".
I had to use the Red and Yellow colors on it, but since their official background was already bright red, I decided on using white instead, so the logo would not disappear/merge with it. I also had the option to create a flag on it, to better ressemble the meaning of the event itself.

-removed the effect stars
-added vector stars
-fixed some corners
For me, this is the perfect example of when you need to peel all the superfluous flashy stuff off your logo to keep the bare essential. Just to name a few: the gradients, the strokes, the 3D effect, the stars, etc.
Also, if this is a thing about flags, why hide the flag behind a whole lot of text ?
The main word here is SIMPLIFY.
