Grande Bandeirada do 15
Brief from client
This one is a little logo I made a while back(but still haven't used) for some sort of political event in which the people in it would hold/use flags during the event time. "Grande Bandeirada do 15", almost literally means "Great 15's Flagging/Flag".
I had to use the Red and Yellow colors on it, but since their official background was already bright red, I decided on using white instead, so the logo would not disappear/merge with it. I also had the option to create a flag on it, to better ressemble the meaning of the event itself.

I currently can't think of anything simpler than that. It's not even an real attempt to make a logo, it's just a draft right now. Still, I think I'll let it on the fridge a bit more so I can think of something more... decent?
KISS is a good advice but I am not so sure for something so commercial. I'll probably try to play a little with the shape of the word "flag" alone and let the rest of the text intact, but probably use another font.
My problem is that I need to create something commercial and that I do know that if I make something simple, My clients will be concerned about it being... simple. My mind is flooded right now. Sorry not posting an actual logo, but an idea. I couldnt find a "delete" button anywhere.

Much better than the previous 2 versions.
I would pick a different font, though. Helvetica Neue definitely lacks too much character and oomph for a festive logo like that.
