Honey's Kettle Fried Chicken

Brief from client
Design for a fried chicken restaurant called Honey's Kettle Fried Chicken. Opinions please.
Nice! I dig the new color of the kettle, I dig the new shaping accents on the kettle and the flames look a lot better too! I might simplify the very bottom of the flames even more though- the area that's right above the top of the H looks a little choppy. I think this is looking really nice- now it's just a matter of perfecting the text and maaaaaybe the color of the "honey" or whatever liquid is in the kettle? (I kind of agree with whomever said that it maybe should be a different color than the flames!?! Could the flames be moved to a more orangeish color? That might look really nice up against the new copper colored kettle!?
I liked the flame detail in version 2. This is nice and a nice translation of the source, but an unstable boiling hot cauldron spilling hot liquid may not be the best imagery for a restaurant. This would better if the product were just a sauce.
The flames might have looked more flame like in Version 2, but what a pain in the butt it would be for printing purposes! All of the detail/transparency would be wasted and lost.
As far as having an "unstable" kettle pouring liquid in the logo- I don't think people would really (consciously or subconsciously) think anything of it in terms of going to said restaurant, you know? I've been a place called Hell's Kitchen that has a crusty looking crow flying in their logo, but I've never though "Oh my, there might be unkempt poultry in the kitchen!". But that's just me! I think it's a nice logo that might have a little ways to go but I think it'll be great once it gets there!! :)
Hello, hello. I like some points of this logo but others I can't say I'm very fond of. I love the idea of the honey in the kettle being poured out above the logo and using the drop of honey as the apostrophe. Sadly I have to say I really just don't care for the flames at all. I get why they're there but it just doesn't fit to me. When I hear the word honey I visualize sweet, pleasant images in my head, not flames. How about a more simply approach and maybe use the brass kettle in their store as the model for the kettle in the logo, add the honey and have it dripping onto the font. The font here doesn't really work in my opinion. It looks like a title on a children's book no offense. I don't think the "h" and the "k" should be touching either but if they we're maybe a nice dripping effect like honey was dripping from one to the other could be interesting. Nice job overall, just think you could do a little more to make it even better. Best of luck

New color is inspired by the brass kettle they have in the restaurant

I'll test a new flame color and fix that choppiness
