Brief from client
This is my own personal logo - i designed this to get my company up and running. Possibly in future, i'd like to change the name and obviously new logo but i am still in the idea stage on that.
back to the drawing board - i wanted to use the first two letters 'nj' and combine these and make a funky design in itself - then try with handwriting. i am pretty drawn towards these colours so hopefully these suit. i appreciate the comments with all my logos that i have uploaded as i am in the first stages still.

From left to right, top to bottom, I like number 4.
I think you should work on the symbol up top. It has potential.
I would get rid of the dot and any arrows/hands and just leave the type on a straight line. Also- no web 2.0 treatments : P

I agree with G13 play around with the top row of logos as they are on the right path. Much better submissions than last time though.
you've come a long way from the first two. I think the top logos are interesting looking, but I would go with no. 4 (going clockwise) with some modifications. The NJ script is quite lovely and a nice color but i think it would look cool if you used an elegant sans serif font for "graphic design". I'm just not crazy about how the 2 lines of script look together. I'd also play around with a different color than gray.
thanks guys, i will alter both for final versions and then hopefully onto a good thing :) appreciate the comments. i'm stuck on both just now and cant choose..mmm.

There is a lot going on here. Top version graphic mark looks promising but you definitely need to do some cleaning up.
Remember... 'less is more'.
I would definitely remove arrow, pointer finger and that dot.
Typography needs work too, I don't think text on a round path works here.
