People's Atelier ltd.
Brief from client
People's Atelier is a shop in which people design and fabricate the products being sold:
Thanks to our daily design workshops, software training, 3D fabrication tools and help from guest designers, people will create, make and sell products such as furniture, homeware, fashion items or even cakes!
-The brief for PA's logo is to express the idea of multiplicity: This shop is all about people's creativity. It might be inspired by cubism, jazz or any art and concept which can be perceived as personal or "bottom-up".
-The logo could also be about contemporary fabrication tools such as laser-cutter, 3D printer or CNC milling machines.
-It might reflect the software being used such as the idea of using simple parameters to create multiple forms from one "associative" geometry.
-As an "Atelier" or workshop, the logo should have a "school-like" spirit, where people want to learn, create, make.

This logo explores the following ideas from the client's brief:
-Multiplicity:
The title is clear in the foreground and distorted in the background. The distortion is unique for each letter and maintains their initial geometry by using simple "transform" operations.
-Fabrication:
The distorted letters seem engraved in a thick material.
-Atelier/School:
The simple font (Kalinga bold) and the fountain pen ink colour reminds of a school atmosphere.
-Cubism/Jazz:
The intersection between the foreground and background titles create a third geometry and colour. One that is abstract yet understandable, dynamic and "free-style". The multiple angles have a cubist feel to it.
Problem: Too serious, font is too classic, not catchy enough. The font might be too thin to see the "intersection geometry". Might need to try separating "People's" and "Atelier".

sincerely... is like a bad shadow... sorry.
Thanks radicallevel, no need to be sorry, I am here to learn. Would you have any advice?
i like simple stufs, but this is to simple, and the shadow, really doesn't work. Try another thing, try create 1 element ho gives the idea off a jazz school or something, but simple.
Agree with manuel... Think harder in... Multiplicity! try to find a way to symbolize that.
This is a great place to learn!
Listen to the comments and utilize what they have to say, we have some amazing artist on here!
Just some small critiquing: the fonts you used seemed to basic I would try to use something a little more modern or that has some subtle yet noticeable feel to it. the colors are not that great and the shadow needs some work on it.
You can tell you are serious so listen to the comments and i don't see why you will not end up with an out of this world logo for your client!
Wish you The Best of Luck!!
Honestly there is nothing salvageable in this. Perhaps you're thinking too much about what it means, than how it would look to patrons, clients, etc. If this were made into physical signage, it would be unreadable. Simplicity is good, but well planned. This looks like something typed up on Microsoft Word in less than a minute. If you're going to use straight type (font) remember that nothing is good-to-go right out of the box. All type has to be tweaked during use, sometimes on a letter by letter basis if not more. Effects like gradients, shadows, special edges, etc., are not part of the initial graphic or text mark. They can be used to enhance a specific application, but often look cheesy or amateurish as part of a standard logo.
1. get rid of the shadow font ( it makes it look veery bad)
2. stick with the idea of people, working, ideas...stuff
3. get another font, perhaps something rounded or stylish like bauhaus or serenade or grafika.
4.As 2423 media said, tweak your fonts, and avoid the effects you cannot control.
good luck
