Brief from client
People's Atelier is a shop in which people design and fabricate the products being sold:
Thanks to our daily design workshops, software training, 3D fabrication tools and help from guest designers, people will create, make and sell products such as furniture, homeware, fashion items or even cakes!
-The brief for PA's logo is to express the idea of multiplicity: This shop is all about people's creativity. It might be inspired by cubism, jazz or any art and concept which can be perceived as personal or "bottom-up".
-The logo could also be about contemporary fabrication tools such as laser-cutter, 3D printer or CNC milling machines.
-It might reflect the software being used such as the idea of using simple parameters to create multiple forms from one "associative" geometry.
-As an "Atelier" or workshop, the logo should have a "school-like" spirit, where people want to learn, create, make.
Thanks a lot for your critique, I realize the first one was very bad. I hope this one is better. Here is version 2: A pixel type invaded by colours. I will work on a symbol. Maybe a Pixelated Plier?

It is very...much place for better. It's too complex for a logo, too pixelate. I can't integrate what the colors on p and a comes for. Perhaps try something else, a rectangular font ot square based, pixelate put not so complex. Your ideea it's ok but requires some finish..

I like the use of the 8-bit letters, but I would make one letter that way. Not both. I also like the use of colors in the individual pixel. I would focus on the font of one of the words, and leave the other one pixelated. But it is a good start. Also, think about adding an icon as well. Not just font.
hi Arthur. Sorry for ask, but it seams that you dont have a really good font folder. try www.dafont.com you can find some similar fonts, but better ones. You give us a great briefing, but your logo have some fails... starting ith the font, and with the kerning... tryto do something... diferent. People will not see all of that you have wrote on the briefing in your logo, most of them will think that, there was a printing error. So... try again my friend.

I like the idea to represent the concept but it is not coming through especially in a logo. the pixelated fonts dont work well for a Logo. your thought is in the right track, probably some more work on the ideas will get you there. good luck!
Sorry, the whole idea is not good in my opinion (its only my opinion). The pixelization tells me nothing.. maybe try something completely different.
I enjoy the Idea, but I think you should either go all the way or scrap it entirely.

maybe combine 2 typographies like a @thecuraga´s idea, The "People´s" use the font Helvetica bold.
