This is an improvement, looks pretty good and love the bear, only one thing i think can make it better is, center the rectangle with the typography, it doesn't matter if the bear's mouth is a little more loaded on the left...and i personally just let IMAGINOUT alone, and lose the digital paintings.

A major step in the right direction indeed. I agree with jback about centering the rectangle and not the whole sypmbol.

I would also try to find a different yet complimenting font for the subext.

Good job!

These are some serious allegations.

We will get to the bottom of this.

I'll take care of this as soon as I'm back from the office.

Ok, here we go.

Stealing somebody else's work is morally wrong, let alone legally.

But willingly accusing the actual creator of stealing something you stole yourself in the first place is equally wrong and probably the biggest dick move a designer can ever do to another.

So one of you two is lying and we're going to find out who. I take logo theft very seriously, maybe too much, but I do not allow thieves in the Critique Section.

@Shawon_Shami:

You uploaded the logo on Flickr on August 26 2019 as indicated in the link you provided. But Akhilles posted his version in the Critique Section of BotW on August 16 2019. So your portfolio proves nothing. Your claim that you designed it 2 months ago is unsubstantiated hence irrelevant.

But at the same time, nothing proves that Akhilles did not steal it from you either. He could have stole it before you uploaded it in your portfolio.

I had a look at both your Flickr and Fiverr pages. I must say I'm a bit intrigued because some of your logos are just plain bad, with a heavy use of clip arts and generally with very poor execution. But others are actually quite good to the point that I wonder if they were done by the same person. That's how much of a gap there is between your good and bad logos. But a Google search by image didn't bring up anything and there's nothing really conclusive about you potentially stealing these logos. You could have just as well worked very hard on this particular logos while being very lazy with the others. Or maybe you work in a team with a better designer than you.

Two things don't really hold up in your accusation, though: you say that Akhilles stole the logo from your Fiverr page on August 5 2019. First, how do you know that it was on that particular day? And second, on your Fiverr page, the logo is in low resolution displayed with a other logos, all of them vertically squeezed in. Akhilles original post is in a higher resolution, with a correct ratio and in a different colour also.

@Akhilles: nothing proves that you stole this logo. But as I said, nothing proves that you didn't either.

I didn't see any other logos from you, so it's hard to get a sense of your work in general as I did with Shawon. If I'm being perfectly honest, in your very first post, I was intrigued by the fact that the symbol was extremely well designed while the font work wasn't really great. I even asked you if you created it yourself. To which you replied that you did and spent a lot of hours working on it. I have no real reason not to trust you.

So here were are. I did not find any other reference to this logo besides BotW and Shawon's Flickr and Fiverr pages. Both of you have a high resolution of the logo in JPEG, that you can only get from the native file or copying it from a web page. So both of you could have stolen this logo.

So here's what we gonna do:

The real creator of the logo must have access to the native file. You guys have until this Monday, 16 September to send it to me. AI, EPS, CDR, I don't care. As long as it's an actionable file.

Both of you are in different time zones, so let's say that you have until 4.00 PM Universal Time.

If you're the thief and try to work up a working file from the JPEG, don't sweat it, I'll find out.

You can send the file to this address: shawalip@gmail.com

If I don't receive a proper working file from at least one of you two by Monday, I will block both of you from Brands of the World.

Thank you.

So. We have found the culprit. It was Shawon_Shami all along.

I received the working file from Akhilles a few minutes after having sent a mail to each last Friday, proving that he was the original creator of the logo.

As I said, if stealing someone else's work wasn't bad enough, accusing the author of stealing what you have stolen in the first place is beyond dishonest and crass.

And to use your real name while doing that is just plain stupid.

Of course, Shawon deleted his post, as if it would make things go away. Too bad for him, I made a screenshot of it.

EDIT: I received a mail from Shawon_Shami in which he confessed not being the creator of the logo. Although he says he did not steal it himself, someone on his "team" did.....

His account has been deleted.

Case closed ;)
