This idea had occurred to me, but I ultimately don't like the concept. I want the "n" to be able to stand alone as an "n" and the silhouette to stand alone as a silhouette, and finally for them to become one unified image. I feel that adding more literal details to the silhouette breaks up the flow. I also don't care for either font, the kerning, or the center alignment of "design". The shape of your n is closer to what I was going for initially - something more modern, but I received feedback that people weren't seeing the "n". I understand that using the same outer shape between the text and the mark helps to clarify. I'll try to play with that more. I do like the more modern feel. Probably should have stuck with that from the beginning.

You need to make the head contour more visible. Take a more modern type for "nationhead".

I still really liked this concept with the simplistic head in the center it worked for me but the new layouts are pretty sweet as well! =D
